Dr. James Joseph Faremouth
Dr. James Joseph Faremouth is board-certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He serves as Medical Director of Green Balance Health and Wellness and is certified by the State of Florida to recommend medical cannabis to qualifying patients.
Dr. Faremouth is a graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his medical degree in June 1996. He completed his internship and residency through Horizon Health System, a division of Henry Ford Health in Michigan, in July 1999.
Throughout his career, Dr. Faremouth has developed a reputation for treating each patient as an individual. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, he takes the time to understand each patient’s health history, concerns, and goals before developing a personalized treatment plan.

Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Dr. Faremouth maintained a private practice for seven years before relocating to Naples, Florida, in December 2007. After moving to Naples, he opened the walk-in clinic on Collier Boulevard for Anchor Health. When Anchor Health was acquired by NCH, he joined Millennium Physician Group, where he cared for patients in hospital, clinic, and nursing-home settings.
In 2014, Dr. Faremouth joined Premier Hospitalist Group, where he continues to treat patients in hospital and skilled-nursing environments. His broad clinical experience also includes outpatient medicine, medical cannabis certification, and facial aesthetics. Across every area of his practice, Dr. Faremouth remains committed to personalized care, patient education, and helping individuals pursue greater health and well-being.
